Overall a N-FINE book in FINE- condition dust jacket (not price clipped) of an Ian Fleming U.S. Dust jacket has a tiny closed tear with related crease at top right on front panel otherwise no chipping or tearing or creasing (no vertical creasing on flaps - common defect with this DJ caused by the "stiffness" of this glossy covered DJ), virtually no wear to spine tips, no wear to front flap crease, no wear to left/right on spine, no color rubbing, no spine sun fading to title lettering, almost no edge wear, no dust soiling to panels (common defect with this all white DJ), no soiling or staining. Book has no creased page corners, flat white pages with sharp outer page corners, no foxing to pages or endpapers or outer page edges, hint of age darkening/dust soiling to outer page edges, endpapers are clean and free from any tape residue or discoloration, no former owner's markings or used bookseller stamps/stickers inside, no wear to board edges, corners or spine tips, no bumped board corners, no discoloration/soiling to boards.
IAN FLEMING - THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, published by New American Library (NAL), copyright 1965, First Printing (states "First Printing" on copyright page with no references to subsequent printings - there were at least 6 later printings of this trade edition which all clearly state as such), lists to "You Only Live Twice" on list of Fleming books on pre-title page, olive endpapers with black boards and white & gold spine lettering with gold gun on spine/boards, actual holes in DJ representing bullet holes (only found on the Trade DJ - book club DJ does not have actual holes), $4.50 on DJ front flap.
